Giggles began as a meme, hit 100,000+ users on $15, and hit top 50 on the U.S. App Store with a scrappy vibe-coded MVP.
My cofounder Edwin and I intend to keep the team small yet hugely impactful as we grow to hundreds of millions of users.
We have a culture of shipping faster than any app while constantly upgrading infrastructure. We make the effort of defining, dividing and sizing technical projects and use Trello, whiteboards, and humour to communicate. We value rigour, humility, and performance in all decisions.
This means we work 6-7 days a week in a California mansion, 12+ hours a day. We work in small but diverse groups of generalists, with each person having autonomy to make product decisions with the user at the centre of all our technical reflections - pushing the boundaries of what could be the funniest for the end user.
